ABOUT Derby Architectural Services
We are a Derby based architectural design company that specialises in domestic extensions, barn conversions, loft conversions, new house builds and housing developments.
We work with clients to assess and achieve their ambitions, with the knowledge of what will be acceptable in terms of both planning and building regulation requirements.
Our client base is in the main part in Derby/Derbyshire, but we also cover projects within the Nottinghamshire and Staffordshire areas. We are also open to projects nationally.
Tristan Mosley – Managing Partner
Tristan has over 30 years experience within the Architectural Industry, he trained with a Derby based RIBA Architect – Graham Markwell Associates and qualified as an Architectural Tech./Designer at the University of Derby.
Following his initial training where he gained a good knowledge of domestic extensions, house designs and barn conversions, he worked in Local government for a few years, where he gained experience in HMO’s, Disabled Facilities and council stock refurbishments.
Tristan’s passion though, has always been in domestic extensions and house design, so since the mid to late 90’s, Tristan has worked for Housing Developers in the local area. He has worked for Michael Goodall Homes, Wheeldon Homes and Meadowview Homes.
He has broad experience in the initial feasibility of developments, through to the preparation of site layouts and house designs for Planning submission and approvals, followed by construction drawings/specifications for Building Regulations/NHBC approvals.
He is conversant with liaising and appointing Site Surveyors, Arborculturists, Archaeologists, Ecologists, Planning Consultants and Civil/Structural Engineers. From this he has many contacts for all needs of any project.
